AusNet Energy Resilience Community Fund - Successful Grant for MMC/MIHS

We are pleased to announce we have been awarded a grant through AusNet’s Energy Resilience Community Fund to install battery storage that will integrate with our existing solar and generator systems, further strengthening our backup power capabilities.

This important upgrade will help ensure continuity of essential services during power outages, protecting vaccine refrigeration, clinical software, communications, lighting and essential medical equipment.

We would also like to congratulate our fellow local grant recipients — Eisner’s Pharmacy, Goughs Bay Area Progress Association, Mansfield Autism, McCormack Park in Merrijig, and Merton Memorial Hall & Merton Recreation Reserve Pavilion — who have also received funding through this highly competitive program.

We are proud to be part of a community committed to building greater resilience and preparedness for the future and give thanks to AusNet for funding this project.
