Mansfield Medical Clinic is seeking motivated and enthusiastic General Practitioners to join our well-established and highly regarded rural practice as sole traders/independent practitioners. Located in the heart of Victoria’s beautiful High Country, Mansfield offers an outstanding opportunity to enjoy a rewarding medical career while embracing a genuine lifestyle change.

Mansfield continues to experience a shortage of Rural General Practitioners, creating excellent opportunities to establish and grow your practice within our thriving community. In addition to private general practice, doctors have the opportunity to provide visiting medical services to Mansfield District Hospital and utilise procedural skills in Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics (including LSCS), and Anaesthetics.  ​Our clinic is a long-established mixed billing practice with a strong reputation for quality patient care, supported by experienced nursing, reception, and administrative teams.

Incentives and Classification

Mansfield is eligible for a range of Federal Government workforce incentives and is classified as:

• Modified Monash Model (MMM) Category 5 (MM5)

• Australian Statistical Geography Standard – Remoteness Area 3 (RA3) (Outer Regional Australia)

These classifications may provide access to a range of rural workforce incentives and training opportunities.

Who Should Apply?

We welcome applications from:

• Vocationally Registered (VR) General Practitioners seeking a rewarding rural career and lifestyle

• GP Registrars training with ACRRM or RACGP

As an accredited teaching practice, we provide comprehensive training and mentoring opportunities, supporting doctors throughout their registrar journey, fellowship attainment, and beyond.
