Drs Ben and Carli Weatherhead have taken up the opportunity to work as GPs in a small seaside town in Ireland in 2025. They both have family in Europe and look forward to strengthening their family ties and taking their children on an adventure, while broadening their clinical experience. They plan to return to Mansfield in January 2026.

Dr Carli Weatherhead graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2012. After undertaking her internship in Launceston, she completed her hospital training in Wangaratta in 2015. She has obtained fellowship of the Royal Australian College of GPs in 2021.

Outside work, Carli enjoys spending time with her young family and being involved in various community groups. She enjoys cycling and skiing.
