He commenced rural General Practitioner training in 2001 with six months in Seymour, before moving to Mansfield to complete his post graduate training. He obtained fellowship of the Royal Australian College of GPs in 2003. The same year he joined the existing practice principals at Mansfield Medical Clinic, bought a house in town and got married to his fiancé Eileen!

He and Eileen have since had 4 children, 2 of whom were born here in the Mansfield District Hospital.

Andrew worked winters in the Mt Buller Medical Centre for a total of 16 seasons between 2001 and 2017, developing a wealth of expertise in the assessment and management of snow sport injuries. When not running the clinic Andrew enjoys mountain biking, bushwalking, free-heel (telemark) skiing, nature photography and paddling.

In 2021, Andrew is celebrating 20 years of service in the Mansfield community.
