The Mansfield Medical Clinic is a Rural Medical Practice that provides high quality medical care to the people of Mansfield and the surrounding area.
It is accredited to the standards set by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is also an accredited teaching practice within the Bogong Regional Training Network.
It is situated next to the Mansfield District Hospital, 500m from the town centre. |

Appointments |

Consultation Times are between 10.00 am and 4.45pm Monday to Friday. Appointments may be booked for these times by calling the clinic on (03) 5775 2166, between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm.
Brief appointments are scheduled with an allocated doctor after lunch each day for
1. Prescription renewal where review is not required ("Script Clinic")
2. Warfarin Blood test monitoring ("INR Clinic")
3. Renewal of expired Referrals where reassessment is not required.
Urgent problems are always our priority. If you believe that your condition requires urgent attention please inform the receptionist when making your appointment. There is a doctor on call every day who will see you if your regular doctor is not available.
Sometimes your needs will require a longer consultation. Please let our receptionist know so that adequate time can be booked for you. |
| After Hours and Emergencies |

A doctor from one of the two clinics in Mansfield is "On-call" for emergencies every day of the year. The doctor on-call can be contacted by calling the clinic on (03) 5775 2166. A recorded message will give instructions as to how to contact the on-call doctor.
Outside of clinic hours, patients needing to be seen urgently, are seen in the Mansfield District Hospital Emergency Department, after assessment by the hospital's nursing staff.

About Mansfield...
Mansfield is a prospering rural township at the edge of the Victorian High Country in North East Victoria. It is close to both Lake Eildon, and the Mt Buller & Mt Stirling Ski Resorts, and as a consequence is a popular tourist destination in both Summer and Winter.
